A House of Dreams
Wasn’t it
At least I as a child grew up fantasizing about such a house
It was the first house I learnt to draw
Surprising all of us had the same house in our drawings
The house would have triangle shape shelter
A pole holding the shelter
Two windows and a door
Sometimes there would be four I guess because we loved drawing windows.
Let me tell you at such a young age more windows provide more light… nahhh would be too much to comprehend for our small brains
I stuck to two windows but there would be one window on the side wall so actually three.
I shall admit that I too love drawing windows. Hehhehe
Then there would be the same brown triangle mountains
The sun half peeping out
A lawn…a tree…a chimney on the top of the house
At times if creativity was written all over us…A brook with a boat would be visible.
At such an age ducks were not the most good form of art …everybody enjoyed making the sound Quack Quack rather then have a duck in their drawing.
So exactlyyyyyyyy we tots preferred the boat.
Am I forgetting something
Of course the shapeless crows…weren’t they cuteeeee in the drawings.
I am glad the dream houses differed in all the pictures. Thanks to our lovely fingers which were still learning to hold the pencil
. So it’s quite obvious we had different shapes of houses and not forgetting different color taste. At times you would also see a sun in brown…I really don’t know if the day was real hot or the sun got burnt. Ok ok I will not let my imagination go wild…it was that the yellow and the orange crayon would always seem to disappear when you needed it.
It would be fun to live in such houses…Don’t you think. Ok let’s get back to reality
I hope you all enjoyed touring our childhood house
